Integral has added a new innovative partching solution to its already extensive product range. Responding to the needs of the customers and end users alike, the Angled Toolless Keystone Jack is now available.
Unlike other products on the market, the right angled patch panles utilises a jack with an angled facia which is then mounted at ninty degrees compared to the conventional panel design. This approach creates a natural angle for the installed patch lead, directing the cable to one side, reducing stress on the cable. This, in turn, reduces the space required between the front of the patch panel and the cabinet doors by eliminating the need for horizontal managemnt bars, whilst at the same time maintaining the aesthestics of the entire cabinet installation.
The rear of the panel termination is completed with the popular toolless butterfly style housing.
These key features make the jacks both easy to install and great to use. Ease of use is assured by terminating to the rear of the panel. There are no complications as there is no crossing of cables at the rear of the cabinet. And once installed, patch cord management is seamless, with no excess pressure on the cables and no large bend radius to get the cord away from an angled panel, as seen in other designs on the market.
Initially available in Cat6 UTP and Cat6 FTP, a shielded Cat6a version will be availavble from the end of March 2010.
